Icelands Breed Descriptions

There are three breeds that live in the Icelands; Arctics, Sami, and Saberhorses.

About Arctics

Arctics are small, pony-like horses with long fur coats to help shield them from the cold. Arctics are playful, friendly creatures that mostly just try to get along with everyone and keep the world peaceful and happy. Arctics have the ability to bend snow, ice, and cold wind. If they wanted to they could probabally use this power to gain supreme control, but they're prefectly happy just eating, sleeping, and playing. Arctics are somewhat lazy and do not like large tasks. Arctics range form 11hh to 14.2hh. They come in white, grey, or black and their coat can vary in legnth from 3 inches to 7 inches. Their tick manes are accominied by thick, bushy manes and tails.

About Sami
Sami are thin-built, deer-like horses. They are shy and don't come out in the open a whole lot. The buck-stallions often fight over doe-mares, and will headbutt each other with their pronged horns. The Sami with the most prongs usually wins. Sami fights usually do not turn deadly however. Sami are mysterious in the way that they do not shed their horns, and both the doe-mares and buck-stallions have beautiful fully-pronged sets of antlers. They are usually about 13.2hh-15.2hh and are built similar to arabian horses. Their coats range from Bay, Sorrel, White, Grey and Black, to Buckskin and Palomino. Their horns are black, dark brown, medium brown, or tan.

About Saberhorses
Saberhorses are firece fighting equines with a sick sense of humor. Sabers stallions have been known to attack and even kill young colts that could be conpetition in the future. Saber herds usually range form 2-5 horses and are relatively small. Sabers are quick-tempered and violent-natured and will fight with virtually anything. Their sharp fangs protrude form the upper jaw and work like a jackhammer; They can break right through a bone. Sabers are usually around 15-16hh and come in all natural solid colors.
