Skylands Breed Descriptions

There are three breeds that live in the skylands; Pegasus, Pixie Belles, and Dragonhorses.

About Pegasus
Pegasus are majestic, brave, powerful horses with wings similar to bird's. They are wise, kind, and peaceful. They are the smartest breed of horse in exsistance. They used to be a part of the Divine group intil they resigned due to the amount of fighting that goes on. Pegasus are usually pretty big, standing 16.2hh-17.3hh and have a wingspan of 3x that! Pegasus can travel the intire universe with it's wings and doesn't have to breath. They rarely descend to the ground and perfer to stay in the clouds. Pegasus can live to be vey old, with the average lifespan lasting 100 years! However they are late to mature and cannot breed intil they are 10 years old. They come in any natural horse coat color, and the wings can range to be just about any color in exsistance.

About Pixie Belle
Pixie Belles are tiny, fairie-like horses with wings that resemble one of three insects; a butterfly, a dragonfly, or a ladybug. They buzz around leaving a trail of pixie dust where they go. Pixies are clever little creatures and some will play tricks on bigger horses, even the great Pegasus. Pixies are incredibly fast for their small size and can move almost at the speed of sound. Pixie Belles come in all natural horse coat colors and their wings come in any color imaginable. They range form 4inches to 1foot tall.

About Dragonhorse
The Dragonhorse is a firece, violent breed very similar to the Saberhorse in temperment. They fight without cause, they right without reason. They have quick temperments and a tendancy to act without thinking. However, a Dragonhorse will not kill another Dragonhorse without a good cause. Dragonhorses are big horses, ranging from 17hh to 19hh. They come in all natural horse coat colors and their wings and scales can be any dark color imaginable. Some dragon horses can breath fire and/or ice.
They can vary in appearence from mostly dragon (Example) to mostly horse (Example).
